If you're not serious about your time, no one else will be. If you don't value yourself, no one else will. You see, everything begins with us, and how people view us, is usually how we view ourselves. We teach others how to reciprocate it when they see what we'll allow, or will not allow to be done to us. Always remember that you have the power to decide how someone treats you. You can't call a man disrespectful, meanwhile you're the one chasing after him. You can't say someone is grimey, but continue to call them to make moves. You can't be mad when no one takes you seriously, if you're the one that's unknowingly teaching them how to play you. By not nipping certain behaviors in the bud, you're allowing toxicity to grow. What does it say about you and the way you view yourself? Time waits for no one! So value yours first, before you expect anyone to value it. Love yourself first, before you expect anyone to love you. And prioritize God first, before you expect anyone to prioritize you.
Reposted from @whateverywomanneedstoknow ( @get _regrann) - Stagnancy starves love. You need consistency, growth and serious commitment. If a man is up in the air about where you belong in his life for a prolonged amount of time, he’s telling you that he does not value you or your time. Time waits on no one and neither should you. Commune with God, give Him your heart and trust in His timing. You don’t need a man who isn’t serious or sure about you leading you on and leading you wrong.
