Having friends over, and being able to cook for them and my family is the best feeling for me.
It is the combination sharing a meal and the fellowship it brings along with it, that gives me the ultimate sense of satisfaction.
Yesterday, as I was working in the kitchen, I once again became grateful for the discovery of my passion.
I am grateful that I can see a dish, instead of a set of produce when I open up any fridge. That I can tell that I dish has been under or over seasoned. That I can smell whether a curry contains fresh coriander or not. That I know that a strawberry and a mango is both sweet, but yet they are sweet in their own way. That I can describe the taste of horse radish to someone that has never encountered it, and be complimented on my description as spot on by a professional chef such as @rameezcereschef94 .
I cannot emphasize enough, how happy and relaxed cooking makes me feel. Being able to produce something from scratch and it being awesome (for the most part) and not being remotely afraid of failing at it; is the most liberating thing I have experienced; especially when I can do it for the people I love.
It is my hope that every single person on the planet gets to experience this, no matter what their passion is, because damn; it feels great.
