So myself and himself went to the Ploughing Championships yesterday - it's a very large (second largest in Europe apparently), and *very* Irish festival that is a huge big deal over here, with around 10,000 people attending each day if not more - and bejaysus the weather was beautiful.
It's a great opportunity for farmers to check out the newest tech and get meeting each other and networking, a whole heap of businesses have stalls and there are plenty of attractions, from bands to pony riding to the actual ploughing itself, of which I got very little to show for it because we couldn't actually find it for most of the day, and couldn't seem to find any tractor ploughing at all 🤷
I love the vintage part the most, myself - and the animals, as you can probably tell from what I took the most photos of - but that didn't stop us from queueing up for 40 minutes to go on the silly fairground ride, which actually ended up being well worth it as you could see the whole festival from the top, as well as being flung around and tipped upside down by a gigantic rusty death trap. 10/10 would risk my life again.
