STUCK IN A RUT?
Have you heard the saying "variety is the spice of life"? Well, the same could be said for your fitness pursuits. Doing the same thing day after day, week after week, month after month can get kinda... well... boring 😕.
Switching things up, trying something new, incorporating multiple activities into your fitness routine isn't ONLY smart cross-training, it helps ensure your body is constantly adapting to the new expectations being placed upon it - which can result in better results, lack of boredom, a greater balance of overall strength, mobility, power, stability and endurance.
If you're working with a personal trainer, look for one that blends in a mix of components for you, based upon YOUR needs, YOUR ability, heck even your mobility or restrictions. Be mindful of avoiding one size fits all (which as we know - doesn't!). ;)
